Hi, I'm back!!! :D I keep wanting to write the story of my life but I'll most probably end up being too lazy to finish it. Anyway, I re-read the lovely Anti-Drug Essay and I must admit, I had so much talent for writing.. I have about 5 notebooks filled with the first chapter of the story of my life, and all were never finished. Sigh at myself.
To be continued..
Hm. Why did I stop?
1. I found the plot crappy.
2. I got lazy. Lazy to write, lazy to think and lazy to change the date and time to a suitable one.
This always happens. I am a perfectionist, so until I get the perfect plot, I'm never going to touch a pen again. Except for important stuff. Like school.
Imagine..
Teacher: "CHERYL L__! WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER A SINGLE QUESTION ON THE TEST?!"
Anyways. Shucks. I thought this would be my secret hideout. But I can never keep secrets.. so.. sigh.
To be continued..
This is where it all started..
Don't like it? Get outta here.

Anti-Drug Essay, horribly twisted by the horribly twisted Cheryl :D -applause- !!
OH YA, forgot to add this :

This story is protected by the Copyright Corporation Of Copyrighted Copies.NC-14 RATING! So puny wimps, get lost.CHAPTER 1 ~Cookie, his big but bloodshot eyes, stared me down intensely. "Have a sweet," he offered, flipping open what looked like a matchbox full of blush powder. I tried to pinch a bit of the red stuff, but it was quite hard to do so. Finally Cookie settled for pouring the contents of the entire box down my throat. Then I gagged.
"Loser," he sniggered. Then he whipped out a horrible, menacing syringe filled with murky brown water, from his coat jacket. He looked so at ease, stabbing it into his skin, then pushing the button of doom. I watched the murky water ooze into his flesh, until it was gone from sight, and with every millilitre that his body reluctantly absorbed, he relaxed a bit more. Not long after, he was a sloppy body lying on my lap.
"Loser," I snapped back. He barely stirred. I looked at his peaceful face lying across my lap, his eyes shut, with a look that says "I don't have a single worry in the world". Before I could stop myself, my fingers were holding on to the syringe, and I was pushing the rest of the liquid of death out. Then I placed my head on his, and fell into a deep sleep, with nothing but happy bunnies and movies and simple moments with Cookie, like now.
****
"Oi, who are you?" A small girl peered down at me. Cookie was gone, and so was his matchbox. I, on the other hand, had the syringe clapsed tightly in my hand. The girl's eyes strayed down to my hand. "You self-mutilate?" she screamed, her eyes pooling with tears. "No, nono," I blabbered, but I was too late. The syringe was snatched out of my hands, and the girl was running down the stairs, holding the syringe up like a thousand dollar bill.
And I hadn't even introduced myself, even though that was her first question. I stumbled down the stairs, my gaze following the girl. An older man, around his thirties, spotted the girl, and gave chase. After that she was mauled by about a hundred policemen, and she was dragged away weeping. I felt awful, but I stayed frozen, rooted to the ground. Once the policemen was gone, and the only other person nearby was an old lady hanging up her tattered laundry, I walked over to the bus stop and took the bus home.
CHAPTER 2 ~"Hey, Angel," my mom called over the noise of the TV as soon as I entered the house. "A young girl of six was found to be affliated with a drug abuser."
I turned pale as soon as I heard this, but I put on a fake 'interested' look and went "Really?" in a 'sweet girl' manner.
"Yeah, sweetie, come over here and watch," my mom patted the seat beside her. It looked so warm, so comforting, and so wrinkled, as I remembered the times I liked to curl up there and watch cartoons. It's been so long since I sat there, and so long since I talked so much to my mom. Usually it was just a "How was your day?" and my reply would be a "Mm", then I would go into seclusion in my room.
I went over and sat down, prim and proper like a lady should, while my mom was sprawled all over the cushions. My mom hugged me tight and looked deep into my eyes. I hoped she wouldn't see the traces of Murky-Water inside.
"It's so sad, these kids. Turning to drugs to solve problems. But I know I can trust you, darling," she smoothed my hair down. "Even people as young as six do that already. Luckily my girl is so sensible, 14 years of age and getting wiser everyday, right?" My mom beamed.
A knot formed in my stomach, and I could feel Murky-Water killing my insides. But I didn't let on. "Yeah, mom," I sighed, looking up, my eyes watery as I felt so horribly guilty. She gave a small smile. "My smart girl, go on, go to bed, brainiacs need enough sleep for their brains to work well," she joked. I groaned and got up to go into my room, but suddenly she tugged at my arm. "What's this?" she asked, gesturing towards the huge hole in my arm where the needle had been. "Oh, I, er, pricked myself in sewing today," I lied, panicking. Mom raised an eyebrow, then let it go. "Goodnight, dear"
"Goodnight, mom."
To be continued..
Hey :D It's story time again! I just looove stories so much that I can never ever stop writing. Except during exams. Ok, here goes! And sorry for the unsized chapter name thing, using phone internet sucks :(
Chapter 3 ~ (yeah I'm using normal internet now, yay!)Bad, bad dreams, with brown muck and taunting Cookies, saying "Loser," over and over again. I tossed and turned, trying to find peace within me. Peace meant drugs. I got up to grab some pills, then I realized that this was my room and it never had drugs in it. I wandered around like a zombie, groaning and growling for drugs. I picked up the phone and found myself dialling Cookie's number. "9..9..9..5..4..3..2..1.." I pressed really slowly, my cold fingers lingering over the button for ages before actually pressing the button.
"Hello?" Cookie mumbled, then there was a slurping sound, probaby because he was sucking his drool. "Hey, Cookie," I stammered, then lowered my voice. "I was wondering if you had more.. y'know, drugs?"
Cookie let out a chuckle. "Do I ever," he sounded more perked-up now. "When do you want it delivered?"
"A.S.A.P.," I grinned, even though he couldn't see it. "Okay, goodnight," I continued, glancing at my bedside clock and putting the phone gently down. 4.27am. I felt restless, unable to sleep. I took a long walk around my room around 5 times, then started jogging on the spot. "Man, way to burn those calories!" I mused. I was still unable to sleep, but it was already 5.45am, so I took a nice warm bath. By the time I got out it was 6.10, and I dressed up, ready for school. That was when I saw a horrendous, swollen scar snaking down my arm.
"OH MY GOSH!" I screeched, and instantaneously covered my mouth. My parents leaped up and raced to my room, shocked. "Sweetie, is something wrong?" My mom asked, concern in her voice. "Are you injured anywhere?" She started peering all over, looking for blood to come trickling out somewhere.
"No, I just.. realized it was so late.. yeah," I assured her. My dad gave me a puzzled look, turning to look at the clock. "Yeah, late.." he scowled. "If you're late, what're you still standing there for? Move it."
I hurried out of my house, putting on a jacket along the way, my mind filled with drugs, drugs, drugs..
CHAPTER 4 ~"Angel." Cookie said, standing in front of my class door. He wore a mischievious smile, and he looked really cool, his shirt untucked messily and his hair ruffled. "Hi," I replied, trying to squeeze past him to enter the class. A few of my friends were already there, and I tried to catch their eyes. "Oi," he nearly shouted. I looked up at him, into his deep, brown eyes. "Yes?"
"Aren't you forgetting something?" he asked, searching my face, his face unreadable.
I paused. "No, I don't think so.. Now, if you'll let me enter my classroom I'll be glad."
Cookie flared, his eyes turning into a lava pit, then calmed down just as fast. "Fine," he barked. "You'll be sorry." He turned and stalked off.
"Angie," Qiyu called (:]), waving her arms around like a maniac. "What's with that guy?"
I turned back instinctively, but she never saw Cookie. "My friend.. He was asking me something." Qiyu giggled suddenly, and YJ and Cheryl started laughing too. "Go on, Qi," Yue Jia chortled, slamming her head on the table with laughter. Qiyu blushed, her face turning as red as Peixuan's.
"What?" I asked, annoyed that my friends started a secret conversation without me. "FASTER SAY!!" Cheryl (she rocks) piped up, and broke the suspense. "Qiyu fancies that guy."
I gasped, nearly tripping over a chair. Qiyu started screaming and denying it as everyone else in the class heard. Cheryl is our grand loudspeaker, and when she talks, everyone listens (kinda..). Yue Jia couldn't contain her laughter, and started singing our grand SOS Theme Song. Qiyu blushed furiously and went to hide behind the cupboard.
"Er.. You wouldn't like to like him, ya know," I sat down in Qiyu's chair. "Why? I think he looks fine.. well actually I didn't see his face, but he looks good from the back.." Cheryl contributed. Yue Jia nodded.
I felt myself heating up. "You all have bad taste!" I shrieked, running back to my seat. No one knows.. I felt like crying.
To be continued..
I'm in a mood for writing now, and my father knows I'm using the com but he can't do anything as he doesn't have extra stretchy arms to stretch from Toa Payoh until here to turn off the com :D
CHAPTER 5 ~"ANGEL," Cheryl slid into the chair beside mine. "Go away," I said, angry at her betrayal. Cheryl kept quiet, thankfully. But good things only last for a few seconds. She bugged me for more information, like "How old is he?", "How did you meet him?" and "Do you like him?"
The last question threw me. "Uh, he's 16, met him while jogging, and.." My voice trailed off. Cheryl gazed at me intently. I gave her a disgusted look. "I don't know!"
Cheryl, thinking she's some kind of love advisor, sighed dreamily. "Ahh, so cute.." she sighed again. "I don't know usually means yes. Go ahead, Angel, and strut your stuff!"
I sighed (not in a dreamy way, in an exasperated way), and stuck my tongue out. "What stuff? Stuff in my bag?"
Cheryl fluttered her eyelashes. "Stuff," she said knowingly and meaningfully, with a lot of emphasis. I barely managed to grin. The sad thing was, Cheryl always managed to add something sick to a totally innocent conversation. And the next thing, we were talking about disgusting stuff.. as usual.
"So," Cheryl began interrogating me. "What's his name?" She ripped a piece of paper out, and stuck a pencil behind her ear. "Er, I call him Cookie," I told her. She began scribbling it down, then drew a chocolate chip cookie beside it. "This?" she grinned. "Er, yeah.." I said.
"You know that giving guys nicknames mean you like them?" she told me unecessarily. I didn't like this. "I didn't give him a nickname, he told me to call him that! I don't know his real name!" This was depressing news.
Cheryl continued, "you've never seen his nametag?"
I thought back, and shook my head. "This is gonna be tough. Okay, so your COOKIE is in what class?" I tried to remember again. "I don't know," I admitted sadly. "And if you're trying to hook me up with him, it's never gonna work. We aren't fated to be."
"It will, it will!" Cheryl leapt up and down. "There are no un-fated couples, only lazy ones!"
CHAPTER 6 ~"What the hell.." I muttered. "Good going on the quotes there anyway. So, love guru, know anymore helpful quotes?"
"Call me Cikgu L__ (er, surname censored for security? XD)," Cheryl said, walking up to the board and scrawling it in huge letters. "Yeah," she answered, writing it down. "Love is an exploding cigar we willingly smoke," I read out sarcastically. "So your point is.. we will explode if we love?" I suddenly thought back to smoking, and drugs..
Cheryl laughed. "Wanna hear more?" She didn't wait for a reply, then wrote more on the board. "Love is the big booming beat which covers up the noise of hate."
I suddenly felt extremely self conscious, and felt like I could hear my heartbeat. Oh nonono, this can't be happening! I hated Cookie, I knew I hated him! Did I..? The drumming of my heart was much louder than my thoughts screaming about hatred..
"CHERYL!" I snapped back to my senses, and started erasing the crap on the board, and replaced it with a sad face ( :c ). I guess I was a little too late, as Qiyu, from behind the cupboard, and Yue Jia, from behind me, and Zhu Kuan from under my table, and maybe.. the rest of the class, already saw the love quotes. There was even a new one, "Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come." I blushed, and even my eyes looked like they were blushing, as they were as red as my face. But only because I was close to tears.
My gut instinct told me to look at the door, and so I did. There was a streak of black hair, and his extremely good looking face, smirking, vanished from sight. My friends were right, he did look good.. in a cool way, I guess.
"Oh no!" My brain screamed, trying to erase lusty thoughts. "Don't let people pollute your mind, Angel!" while my friends laughed and sang the SOS Theme Song again, this time with the word "Cookie" shoved randomly inside.
"Shutup," I yelled, and ran to the toilet to flush the pills I found in my pocket.
To be continued..
Ok. That was too gross for words.
CHAPTER 9 ~I was sobbing in a corner when I decided that drugs was freaking ruining my life, so I got up and walked back to class shakily. "Ange?" Cheryl said when I walked back to class. "Where did you go?"
Yue Jia and Zhu Kuan already went home, so Qiyu came over. "Wei, you know just now 'na ge ren' (that guy) came to look for you?"
My polluted blood froze in my polluted veins. "Wha-at?" I asked, horrified. That sucker totally killed my virginity, now what did he want? My soul? I felt a fresh tear prick my eye. "Oh," I shrugged it off, as was my talent. I was good at hiding my emotions, including lust..
Cheryl and Qiyu packed their bags and left the classroom, and I was sitting alone again. Other students slowly filed out, and soon I was the last one. A shiver went down my spine, and I could feel my hair standing on end. Something cold prickled my neck, and in one smooth motion I turned around and slapped the person.
"Ow, ****," the person shouted. I blushed deep to the roots of my hairs. "Uh, sorry, I was being paranoid.." I mumbled.
"Take your paranoid-ness somewhere else, ******," he rudely commented and continued searching for something at the table behind mine. What a goof-off..
I picked up my bag and was leaving the school when Cookie caught up with me, taking 1 big step for every 2 I took. "Way to self-defend," he chuckled. I grimaced. "Do I know you?" I spat.
He looked me right in the eye. "Yes, darling," he announced loudly, and put his arms around my shoulder. "You do. Remember me? Your sweetheart, your sugar-coated Cookie?"
Everyone was staring. I pushed his hands off and continued, "Sorry, wrong person. I don't have a darling, and I definitely know you aren't it." My eyes were level with his mouth, and I could see the disgusting stuff in it as he gasped dramatically. "My guardian Angel! I can't believe you forgot about me!"
Gosh, he is way sick. And what's with the puns? I didn't have enough time to think about it before I felt something warm and soft touching my lips. Like bread. Mm, I sure am hungry..
I opened my mouth and enjoyed the softness of the bread, feeling it moving inside my mouth.. Bread.. Mm.
CHAPTER 10 ~ (btw don't listen to any of my advice here, I anyhow typed it o.o)Hey Angel, what's with you nowadays? Bad mood? I know, I always have bad moods. Ohya, come on Audi to chat! It's hard to chat on sms D:I closed the phone after reading the message. I was too distraught to reply. I had been sexually harrassed over and over again, but I didn't dare to take action. Who would? Maybe Cheryl. I opened the phone and typed back.
-.- Yeah.. bad mood. I don't feel like going online right now. :[
A message came back almost immediately.
D: WHY? D: D: D: We can BRBP! Or you wanna go on MSN? I got soooo much to tell you!
I sighed. Crazy com-addict.. and I was a drug-addict. What wonderful friends we make.
Uh.. Next time. -.-Cheryl didn't reply. Which meant she either reached her sms limit, or was saddened. I lolled on my bed, but couldn't sleep. There was too much on my mind. Oh my god, it was torture to get sexually harrassed 3 times in 1 day! What was this, the '3 in 1' offer?!
My mom popped into my room a few minutes after. She looked.. confused. "The school told me you've been kissing a guy," she said sternly. I nodded sheepishly.
Her face softenened. "Oh Angel," she said, stroking my looooong hair. "The boy was called Cookie or something, right?" I nodded again.
"I remember when I had my first kiss.." my mom continued, drifting off into her own land. "I was also 14, like you. He was so sweet."
I was partly wondering why my mom would give me such a talk, but she was still yabbering away. "It was short and sweet, hot and spicy, while I was cool and contented."
"'Kay, I'm tired," I said, but she didn't buy it. "Oh, let me continue!" So I sat in silence listening to her very descriptive sentences. A line caught my attention - "Pretend you're just sucking on a sweet if you don't know what to do."
"Mom," I said. "Do you have drug problems?" I nearly died of embarrassment when she looked at me lopsidedly. WHY DID I EVEN ASK THAT?
"Angel," she began slowly. "Do you?"
I choked on my saliva. "No, nothing of the sort. You know."
"Yes, I know you've been lying to me for so long. Why should I trust you anymore?"
To be continued..
CHAPTER 11 ~I choked some more. "WHAT?!" I shoved her hand off my head. "If that's the way you like it, FINE!" I pushed past her and out of the house, my tears streaming. The handphone was squeezed until I thought it could pop.
"Sucker," I swore, lisping the 's' so that the 's' sounded like a 'f'. "NO ONE UNDERSTANDS ME!" I yelled, flinging my handphone on the floor. Surprisingly, it didn't break. Instead, it vibrated like crazy. Cheryl.
"H-hello?" I sobbed. Cheryl went screaming into the phone. "Dude, remember tomorrow's IPW!"
"Y-yeah.." I sniffed. "Byee." I put the phone down before Cheryl could say anything else.
IPW? WHO CARES ABOUT IPW WHEN I'M DYING?! I climbed up the flower pot, and put my leg on the railing. Gosh, 3 floors down. Would I dare risk it?
I steadied myself, sniffing my snot up. It's been 2 days and I was already in trouble. How would long-lasting drug addicts like Cookie live?
****
"Cookie? Where are you?" I called him using my phone. Bad. My phone was running dangerously low on battery.
"Oh Angel.. somewhere," he crooned.
"Huh? What the?! What are you doing?!"
"Oh.. the works.. hold up sweetie, my friend's on the line."
I had a bad feeling about this. "Sweetie? Is that what you call your friends?"
"Mm..? Yeah, shiok.. I mean, yeah, I mean, no, his name is Swee..ney.."
"What the ****," I cried, nearly losing my balance on the railing on which I sat. "Aah!"
"Ange? You ok?! You there?!" was the last words I heard as I watched the phone fly out of my hands and land on the floor, breaking into gazillion pieces that looked like..
Drugs.
CHAPTER 12~ (I'm feeling quite sad now so that's what's my story's gonna be like. Sad.)"Oh my," I bit my tongue. I was getting too vulgar nowadays. My phone was my life! I couldn't live without it!
"Phone!" I shrieked, nearly leaping off the railing in insanity. Great. Now I was talking to non-living things.
"Shutup," I said to myself.
"No, you shutup. Who talks to phones anyway? Unless there's another person at the other end."
"I do. You got a problem with that?"
"SHUT UP," I snarled, gripping the railing tightly.
It was like the Angel and the Devil having a war. Madness. I was going crazy!
"You know there's a disease for having two voices in your head?" Voice 1 smirked.
"Get out of my head, you freak." Voice 2 was pleasant, angelic, and angry.
"Make me."
"Thanks for the permission."
I could feel Voice 1 beginning to weaken as they hurled insults as each other. The ground, far, far below, was becoming blurry. Suddenly an explosion in my head threw me off balance, and all I heard was Voice 2 crooning gently, "Angel, you're okay, you're with me.."
And I hit the floor.
****
"Huh?" I awoke to find myself lying on a smelly old mattress, staring up at the railing which I fell off. My shattered handphone crumbs was on the ground beside me, and they were.. moving.
The pieces clattered noisily across the floor, and joined up. I gaped in astonishment. My arms, trembling, moved to touch a fragment.
"Aah!" I drew my hand back in pain. The piece seemed to have burned me. But there was no scar, or burn mark.
The phone was reassembled right in front of my eyes, and leapt back into my hands. "P-phone," I sobbed happily. "You're alive!"
I kissed my handphone and stroked it, feeling very much alive right now.
"Angel," Voice 1 sounded satisfied. "I'm back!"
Voice 2 was faltering. "Angel.. don't.."
I rolled my eyes and blocked Voice 2 out. Killjoy.
To be continued..
CHAPTER 13 ~ (I do not care for critisism like 'you suck' from some unhelpful people. As I said, don't like it, get out :])"Phone," I sniffed. "I knew you'd always be there for me.."
The phone jumped around and vibrated happily.
"Ooh." I answered the call. "Sup?"
"Hey Ange," Qiyu said, in a background of noise. "Meet at 10am tomorrow at my house for the makeover!"
"Uhh, yeah. Where's your house again?"
"Next to ABC Plaza."
"I don't know how to go there and I can't exactly ask my mom to send me there."
"Um, take taxi?"
"Uhh, no money." I was in a really horrid state of discomfort right now.
"Aah.. I ask my father pick you up then."
I heaved a sigh of relief, and agreed. After I put down the phone, a wave of panic flooded me. "Oh, my clothes are ages old! I can't go to Qiyu's house stinking."
I headed over to CBA Plaza nearby and tried to make myself less ******* stinky. Whee, vulgarities were so nice!
I tried on heaps of perfumes for 'fun', and tried out a lot of free food, and I finally felt better. It was night time, and I had nowhere to go. "Oh noooo," I sobbed.
"Qiyu, my mom went mad and now I can't enter the house!" It was 9pm and not a very nice time to call, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
"Huh.."
"Can I stay over at your house? Pleasepleasepleeease?"
"Uh.. I'll ask my mom.."
"'K." I was frightened. This wasn't my mouth talking! I was usually such a cool girl (yeah, totally) and I never panicked so much before.
"Ok lor. Where are you? I ask my father send you here.." Qiyu's voice was skeptical.
"CBA Plaza."
"Ok, I'll be there in 15 minutes.."
"Thanks darling," I said, and Qiyu burst out laughing while I was slapping myself in embarrassment.
CHAPTER 14 ~ (I know the story's becoming a little mad now)"Hi Angel," Qiyu greeted me as I opened the door and stepped in.
"Um. Hi. Hi uncle." I still remembered my manners, you know.
The whole ride to Qiyu's house was awkwardly silent, and I kept looking out of the window and hoping no one could smell my stink.
"We're here," Qiyu cut the silence unexpectedly, and I jumped. "Oh, okay. Thank you uncle." I nearly tumbled out of the car in anticipation. But to be honest, I'd rather sleep on a bench now.
"Nice house.." I looked around her small flat. Her sis was running around naked. "And nice sis. Hi auntie."
Qiyu shooed her sis away and we trooped into the guest room. It was cold and bare. "You can sleep here.." she continued. "There's a bathroom there."
"Thank goodness. Thanks Qiyu." I forced a smile, and hoped it was convincing.
"Er. Goodnight." Qiyu shuffled out of the room.
"Night," I said, and tumbled into the bed.
****
I awoke and looked at the clock. It was 9.45am. Maybe I could take a shower, and people would soon be trooping into Qiyu's house for the makeover.
The warm water felt so comfortable, and after I dried myself, I sat on the bed in my old clothes.
There was a knock. Qiyu peeked in. "Hi Angel. Wanna be the first victim for the makeover?"
I tried to act normally, but my head started bobbing like crazy.
Qiyu beamed. "Yay! Come on babe."
I was plopped down in front of a dressing table and I stared back at my reflection. "Erk," I wept. Where did all my beauty go?
Thankfully for me, Zhu Kuan flew into the room at that moment, and all the attention was turned to her. Yue Jia and Cheryl sashayed into the room as well, forcing ZK to sit down like a good girl while they smeared make-up on.
So I was sitting at the corner, just like I always was. Forgotten.
To be continued..
CHAPTER 15 ~ (I don't know why but I've lost my writing skills :[)I had to laugh when ZK was presented right in front of me. She looked like a clown, with fat red lips and cheeks and long eyelashes that seemed to touch her eyebrows. ZK didn't seem happy though. Her eyes were mere slits, the way they usually went when she was upset.
"Yay! To the beach!" Qiyu danced round the room in a micro-mini skirt.
We piled into the car and was alighted at the beach at the next block.
"Man, we could have walked, you know," Cheryl complained. She was all about SAVING THE EARTH. But her voice trailed off as she saw the clear blue water of the beach. My eyes were fixed at the water. "Oh, so pretty, the water.." I mumbled.
"Not the water!" Cheryl covered her eyes. "I hate water!"
"Oh, there's someone there." Yue Jia stood on tiptoes, which wasn't really necessary, since she was tall enough. "Not bad."
Qiyu giggled in a girly way and ran over to the beach. I leaned against a coconut tree and a coconut fell on my head. "You okay?" the same stupid boy rushed over and held my hand. My head was spinning from the coconut. "Y-yeah.." I looked at him properly now. He looked nice. Dark hair, fair skin.. He smiled. I smiled back, then threw my head back and laughed.
Cheryl ran up to me and gave the guy a dirty look. "Come on Angel, you better do your part!"
I nodded happily. "Bye," I waved to the boy, who waved back, his head tilted sideways, like he was trying to understand something.
"ANGEL!" Cheryl was shaking me like a madwoman. "Wake up already! Hello?!"
"Mmh huh?" My brain was bouncing around and I had a headache. "Yaya okay seeya bye."
I turned and ran away from my 'best friends'. Then my phone rang.
"Hello?" I was expecting Cheryl, but no.
"Hi Angel."
Oh no, it sounded like Voice 1 in my head last night! "H-hi.." I really needed to improve my conversational skills.
"I'm sure you know why I called."
Actually, no I didn't.
CHAPTER 16 ~ (Oh no. Brain juice not working. Ideas are quite cliched)I voiced this out, and the person laughed evilly. "I'm sure the voice in your head told you."
"Huh? Aren't you the voice in my head?" I was ******* confused.
"No, I'm the mastermind behind the voice in your head." He sounded pleased with himself. Huh.
"Ookay.. Then stop wasting my phone bills. Why don't you just talk to me through my head?" I cut the phone off abruptly.
"Angel, you bad girl." The voice smirked.
"Sobs, Angel, don't listen to it!" Voice 2's voice was muffled. Voice 1 said roughly, "Shutup." Then there was a cry and Voice 1 continued, "Apparently, you're well fitted for the job."
"Huh? What job?" I couldn't stand the suspense anymore.
"I wanna take over the world."
Oh my god, this is SO cliched. "Yeah yeah, and I'm a portal?"
"No, you're not the portal. You'll be the one doing the work, thank you very much."
"Eh? What?"
Voice 1 sighed, exasperated. "You're gonna kill people."
"Who are you? Why are you in my head?" I yelled. I picked up a pebble and flung it far into the ocean. I saw other people staring at me.
"You remember your handphone?" The Voice smirked.
"Yes.." I took it out and stared at it. Normal slidy phone. Heh. The slidy-ness was so fun! I slid it up and down gaily.
"I am the phone!" The phone flashed red and a devil face appeared, with the words "You are mine!"
"Aah," I took the phone and hurled it at the ground. It broke. More stares. I smiled, then sneered in my head, "Hah, can't fix yourself when people are staring, eh?"
"No," Voice 1 snapped. "I'll show you."
The phone clicked back into place and leaped back into my hands, jiggling about. There was applause from a corner of the beach. "Good show!" some old hippie yelled. There were enthusiastic cheers, and this what what I dreaded: People wanted encores!
"Ok." I threw the phone on the ground again, and it did the exact same thing.
"AAAAANGEL!" Yue Jia yanked me away from the crowd. "I leave you to pick up rubbish and in the end you start picking up pieces of your rubbish handphone?"
I laughed. "Thanks for rescuing me, dude."
To be continued..
